It allows students to interact directly with digital content. The ability to touch, swipe, and drag brings lessons to life in a way that engages both visual and kinesthetic learners.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most is how hands-on everything has become. They love being able to walk up to the screen and actively participate, especially during group work or presentations. The touchscreen has made learning more interactive, collaborative, and fun.\r\n\r\nOne student in particular, who often struggles with focus during traditional lessons, has really connected with this technology. Since we introduced the touchscreen, they've been more engaged, confident, and excited to lead activities at the screen. It's amazing how the right tool can unlock a student's potential.\r\n\r\nThis project has truly transformed our learning environment, and it wouldn't have been possible without your support. With your help, I received dry erase pocket sleeves, printer ink, white card stock, file folders, and multiplication stickers. I used these items to make math kits for my 3rd - 5th grade virtual students. Because my students are virtual and not in a traditional classroom setting, they often need math manipulatives and resources to supplement and enhance their learning. I especially love for my students to have the dry erase pocket sleeves so they can show me their math work. I present a math problem to my students; they work it out on their dry erase pockets; and then they hold up their work in front of their cameras so I can see it on Zoom. This is an excellent way for me to see their work and provide real-time feedback. These funds allowed me to provide each student with a box of materials tailored to our curriculum, ensuring that they could actively participate in experiments rather than just observe demonstrations on a screen.\r\n\r\nWith these materials in hand, students engaged in investigations that deepened their understanding of key scientific concepts. They explored chemical reactions firsthand, built models to visualize energy transfer, and conducted light and matter experiments to see how different materials interact with light. These activities made abstract concepts more tangible, reinforcing learning in ways that reading or videos alone could not achieve.\r\n\r\nThe impact of this donation extended beyond academic growth. Many of my students had never had the opportunity to conduct science experiments at home before. The excitement and confidence they gained from setting up and carrying out their own investigations were incredible to witness. This hands-on experience fostered curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for science.\r\n\r\nIn a virtual setting, meaningful hands-on learning can be challenging to achieve, but this donation helped bridge the gap. It allowed my students to engage with science in a way that felt real, interactive, and engaging, making a lasting impact on their education.
