Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Most of my students are English language learners who attend a Title I school where they all receive free lunch at school. We are an inner city school with high poverty. My students come to school every day full of life, all ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day.
Despite their shortcomings, my students are enthusiastic learners!
They are always eager to learn and have some fun! My students always strive for their best so that they can be successful one day!
My Project
These materials will help add a personal touch and a splash of color to my students' Kindergarten Memory Book! At the end of the year, my students will be able to look back at their amazing work in their memory book. By having these materials, my students will be encouraged to do a wonderful job of creating their memory book.
My students will use the colored card stock to create their monthly art piece for their memory book.
With the markers, my students will be able to write and draw about their monthly writing to add in their binder! My students will use the twistable crayons to color their pictures for their writing. The staplers will be used for stapling all of their writing pieces together!
