Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our high school strives to provide the best education to all of our students regardless of their demographic data or course history. My students are capable of being extremely kind and caring. They are all very intelligent, courageous, funny and loving.

In this ninth grade science class, we enjoy coming together to learn about biology and environmental issues that can affect our planet.

Most of my students always look forward to conducting independent, hands-on activities that help them better comprehend our science content.

My Project

The water quality test kits will allow my students to travel to our local lake and conduct a hands on lab. In my classroom, I like to teach my students that there is more than one type of learner (auditory, visual, & kinesthetic learners). The majority of students are always a kinesthetic as well as visual learners.

Students will be able to conduct their own water quality samples with these Test Kits which will give them real world application of content we learn in class.

All types of learners could use these Test Kits to better understand the content we learn in class.
