After one year in the classroom, I have come to realize that our rural school is still having issues transitioning into a twenty-first century learning environment. Students truly learn best when they feel comfortable in their environment. Bar stools would provide my students with flexible seating and able to conduct more science lab experiments comfortably. Currently, my students must stand while conducting experiments; therefore, we don't do them very often. My classroom already has the perfect lab benches for student led experiments; we would just like to feel comfortable on our bar stools so we can fully focus on science!
