This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager learners who unfortunately do not have access to many resources, more than 50% of the students in my class are English Language Learners with several being in the country less than one year. They are enthusiastic learners who have great dreams and aspirations for the future. Even within their limited resources, they strive to do their best. My students want to have access to the latest in technology in order to prepare themselves for future jobs. They must be exposed to new technologies and innovations in math and science fields in order to compete for the jobs of tomorrow and create new inventions.
My Project
The Dyson air purifier will give students in the classroom the reassurance that the air circulating throughout is clean. For the past year, students have been constantly hearing about safety and social distancing to prevent contamination and how viruses can transmit through the air.
The Dyson air purifier will add an additional level of protection in the classroom so my students can take a "cleansing breath" and proceed to learn and remain engaged in the classroom.
Taking every precaution necessary will allow my students the tranquility and trust to know they are safe within our classroom walls.
