With math, technology, and science becoming the fastest growing job field, my students must be ready for their future careers. Students will use Fraction Manipulatives, Math Skill Tools, and Utilizing Fraction Lines to better understand how mathematics work in the real world. Students need to have mental flexibility and manipulate mathematical tools in order to truly learn math concepts that they can apply to technology and scientific innovations. Students will use the math tools in order to facilitate problem solving in mathematics, and be able to provide evidence to how the mathematical problem was solved. When students see math in their every day life, it becomes part of them.
