Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students walk into the classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. As a their teacher, I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.
My students attend a neighborhood public school in Los Angeles that has been around almost 90 years!
We are a Title I school, our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with over 85% of our students qualifying for free lunch.
My Project
The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in Language Arts and Math. The whiteboards allows my students to see exactly what they are learning, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. The magnetic sentence strips will also be used on this magnetic white board to display sentence starters and vocabulary for my students.
The squeeze bottles will be filled with glue making easier to use with little hands.
The squeeze bottles have a twist cap that will help prevent the glue from drying out.
Our classroom is also requesting replacement ink toner cartridges for the classroom printer. The students will use the printer to print work, pictures, awards, and more.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Students will be able to simply focus on the academic materials at hand.
