Help me give my students a fun jewelry-making experience; the beads, findings, and cording will give our students a chance to express themselves and show school spirit.

My Project

I wanted to give the students a fun project using beads and sewing that involved community and school spirit. My lesson plans will teach students how to create bracelets, necklaces, keychains, and lanyards that say a positive message and show school spirit. They will also create ceramic pendants to hang from the necklace cords purchased.

The donation of beads and cording, allows students to hone their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and design.

The students will follow step-by-step directions to create beautiful jewelry and statement pieces that they can wear and share with their friends and family.

Students will take pride in their work creating items that will be worn by our community members. We live in an amazing place and are lucky to have such special students and school to celebrate.
