They learned a lot about different angles, viewpoints, metric conversions, and so much more. \r\n\r\nMy younger students really enjoyed getting to learn CAD design and modeling skills. They were able to resize objects, change viewpoints, add in a color change layer to their prints, and so much more. Most off all they enjoyed getting to make a keychain that was of their own design! \r\n\r\nFor my older students, they all had varying levels of success with CAD design and by the end of the project, all had created something that could be used in their every day life. I had lots of students create organizers for their lockers, headphone stands with their names in them, and also a few notepad holders. \r\n\r\nOverall, this was an amazing project and I can't wait to do it again!","fullyFundedDate":1725312814968,"projectUrl":"project/3d-printing/8730689/","projectTitle":"3D Printing","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hoffner","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9710481"},{"teacherId":9310575,"projectId":9151280,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of the leather tooling supplies for my classroom. It provides students with a way to release extra energy while they are supposed to be sitting quietly in their chairs. \r\nIt is especially wonderful for the 5th graders after lunch and recess. They always have extra energy, and the wobble chairs provide a safe option for them to sit down while still being able to move. With your donation, my students have quality supplies and tools to create architectural models and drawings. I wanted to inspire students to learn about different career choices for their futures. The projects they started have introduced them to architecture, engineering, construction, landscape design, and interior design. \r\n The students were excited to try the new rulers, cutting tools, mats, and drawing boards. They are of great quality and will last a long time. This is important to a middle school art room where multiple supplies are used every day.
