This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Kindergarten students are amazing. Especially the group I am so humbled to teach. The Title I school in which I serve welcomes a diverse population of students from a low-income community. We continuously strive to give them the best education each day. As a teacher in such a wonderful learning community, I strive to provide my students with not only the best education but an enriching classroom environment full of learning opportunities!

I am so lucky to teach such an amazing group of enthusiastic learners.

My students enter my room each day with a passion to learn something new. Kindergarteners learn best through play and exploration. It is my job to introduce learning standards in an innovative way to capture their attention and mold their minds for the future.

My Project

Face to face teaching during a pandemic has its challenges. Providing kindergartners with safe ways to play during a pandemic takes the cake. No swings, no slides, no tag, masks off need more distance than masks on, the list goes on.

My students need play equipment to make recess fun and safe!

Kick balls, jump ropes, chalk and bubbles are all great ways for students to interact with one another while remaining safe. Throw in some hand washing before and after and we will be ready to build our social skills while getting some much needed physical activity.

With your help my students will be eager to head outside for recess and this teacher will be excited to provide them with a variety of tools to keep them safe and happy.
