My students need puppets to play with and develop social skills and imagination! These puppets would be a unique piece to our play area, as well as can be implemented to reenact stories!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a Pre-K teacher in a Title I district in Oklahoma, in which 100% of our students are free and reduced-price lunch. My learners are sweet, kind, and joyful learners. They come in every day anxious to see what we are working on, and ready to master every concept they are given.
My students radiate excitement to learn, so it is fun to give them projects and activities that challenge their creativity.
With them. each day is a new opportunity to think about academia in diverse, challenging, and fascinating ways. Plus, through the activities they are given, they begin to develop passions and envision themselves as doctors, teachers, engineers, business owners, and much more. It is these moments of recognizing the value in knowledge that fuels my teacher heart and their student minds.
I would love to continue providing resources and opportunities for these little ones, as they will quickly become the future of our world! If you can donate any amount, it would bless my students tremendously. Thank you in advance!
My Project
I believe that having puppets would greatly benefit my Pre K students!
Puppets are an essential in early childhood education.
They can be used in a multitude of ways. First, students can utilize puppets to play and develop social skills at a young age. Second, puppets enact students'creativity, which is critical in lower grade levels. Both of these ways in which learners can indepently use these resources are important to consider.
In addition,, teachers can use puppets and the puppet theater to act out stories. This would allow for learners to analyze character, setting, plot, and many more literacy elements. In early childhood education, hearing and seeing stories is important for reader development.
