This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

If you were going to describe our class in as few words as possible, it would be "hand's on". My class is from inner city Columbus, and I try to focus on making as many real life experiences as possible. We enjoy all kinds of Sports, outside recess, and we aren't big fans of seat work.

The more computer time, the better!

We work hard as a team and we hate sitting still. We are very active and always are looking for new ways to learn!

My Project

This All Purpose Teaching Easel is a great way to get students out of their seats and show the class their thought process. This will benefit small group lessons, problem solving strategies, writing comprehension, student organization, and improve our classroom's functionality.

The All Purpose Teaching Easel will also benefit the students by being able to make teacher resources and teacher examples more accessible to my First Graders.

There will be no more running to the board to copy information or having to re-position yourself to see what the teacher is doing. This will allow students to thrive within the classroom and their educational careers!
