Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I love making books for my students! Making books is a way to be able to personalize and individualize our learning in the classroom. But sometimes having all the materials available makes it harder to be able to create these books.

Some of my students are at an age where they are ready to begin learning sight words and reading, and being able to use the bright fluorescent printer paper and laminating them will help prolong the use of these books for each student.

Printing fun and easy-to-read sight word books can hopefully spark a lifelong love for reading, and being able to personalize each learning book will help with teaching responsibility as well.
