My Project

Middle school students have busy days! They have three minutes to get from class to class and twenty-five minutes to eat lunch, so that doesn't leave a lot of time for the extras. I have a lot of readers who come in early to check out books but struggle to find time to return them.

Having a book drop off cart in the main hallway would allow students to quickly and conveniently return their books on their way to class.

The cart would make the process much easier for them, and it would encourage students to read more since there would be no fear of not being able to return a book on time. It would be fantastic if we could make library use more accessible for all, and I know my students would use this feature on a regular basis. This cart is durable and sturdy and would be a valued component of our library for many years to come.
