The Storyworks magazine subscription would provide my students with excellent, cross-genre reading material. I am a new reading teacher, and I don't have a large selection of books or magazines yet. I've been slowly piecing my library together, but many of my students have already read the books in my collection. A Storyworks subscription would ensure that my students have access to high-interest reading material that would broaden their horizons. They need to read from a wide variety of literary genres to grow as readers, and Scholastic Storyworks can help them do that. The subscription also comes with online magazine access that can be tied into my lessons.
