I am a special education teacher within a high school setting. With my students, I teach using a modified curriculum. My students are in a modified English Language Arts and Math Class. In the afternoon, I am teaching them daily living skills.
My class is full of superheroes in the making.
Even with the struggles they overcome, all my students put forth their best effort in order to be successful.
My goal is to make learning fun, to the best that I can. Our classroom is a community. The teachers, paraprofessionals, students, and I work together on assignments to help bridge the gaps within their learning.
My Project
I am a high school Special Education teacher who has 35 kids within the program. I am looking for a class set of Magic Tree House that would be part of our class read aloud. The kids love reading these books, which help with comprehension skills. The books bring a sense of adventure and creativity.
My students love when we do fun raffle drawings within the classroom!
The fidgets and pop its would be part of our class raffle prize box! They earn tickets based on positive behavior within the classroom.
The last thing I am looking for is LED lights that could help make the classroom more fun and enjoyable!
