Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All students need a learning environment where they feel comfortable working in. In my PreK classroom, students need a carpet for dedicated play areas such as Circle time, read alouds, and social and emotional interactions. By having a carpet in the classroom not only gives my students more opportunities for peer interactions but also gives my students an opportunity to choose where they want to complete their hands-on activities.

I strongly believe students learn best in a safe and comfortable learning environment.

My PreK students are happy to attend school but working the majority of time in a table is very uncomfortable for them. I want to give my students a more comfortable learning environment and give them an opportunity to interact more time in the carpet and less time in tables.
