Let's Make Club Cub Happen

Help me give my students that are on track with their behavior, attendance, and grades, games to play in our Club Cub game room. A combination table will give the students options to celebrate their 9th-grade success.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My vision is to create a space where our kids who are in good standing with behavior, attendance, and grades can come and play games and hang out during our study hall hour. Club Cub will be for kids who do well during our 3-week progress periods. Students who have 80 percent attendance, no Ds or Fs, and no behavior referrals will be invited to hang out on Fridays in the lounge. I want to have good old-fashioned board games so students can be off their phones. I plan on running the lounge on Fridays because, although the students are doing well, they need to take four days a week to do homework and study to continue doing well.
