My Project
The media center should be the hub of the school. What better way to draw the students in than to provide comfy seats for reading and designing lively displays filled with books and characters from their favorite books. Students will be more motivated to read if the reading area is cozy and comfortable.
Imagine looking into the library and seeing students lounging in comfy bean bag chairs, reading a book to a soft, toy character in the book; that's my vision for the media center.
The plush toys were designed with the idea of bringing the characters to life. The excitement for reading will increase as students plop down in a comfy bean bag chair, with a soft plush toy to snuggle with, and a good book in their hand. My dream is that students do not want to leave the media center.
