My Students
Do you know how difficult it is to find Spanish resources?
My 3 year old students are ready to learn Spanish, but unfortunately there is a lack of resources at my school.
I teach a Pre-School bilingual class.
My school is located in a very poor area, both economic and cultural. It is a high need community and all my students receive free lunch.
My class is a new bilingual class, so I do not have many materials. Besides it is really difficult to find good quality resources and books in Spanish.
My children have a very good attitude towards Spanish, they love to sing and listen to stories in Spanish.
My Project
For learning languages, it is essential to have authentic and motivating books and materials.
I would like to create an inspiring Literacy Center with hands on activities and books in Spanish, and lots and lots of meaningful resources.
Trough the ABC Little Books, the Vocabulary Development Photo Card Libraries and the Spanish Alphabet Teaching Tubs they will be able to identify phonics and sounds, develop and learn new vocabulary in Spanish.
They will be able to listen to new and interesting stories such as "Mis cinco sentidos" or the Spanish version of "Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything," which will help them develop their creativity and imagination.
Next year they will start reading, and they will be ready for that because of your support to this project. Besides they will be able to read all these books by themselves.
I would like to ensure that my students learn this new language and have fun at the same time.
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!
By donating to this project you will make my students to kick off with an enjoyable first approach to Spanish. They will love and understand Spanish from the very beginning and this is essential in order to success in the higher grades and also in society.
