My Students

Do you remember how smart and grown up you felt when you first learned to write your name? Well my students are at that age to learn to write their names. Won't you help us to purchase dry erase boards for our classroom, so they can feel that way?

My students are 4 year old with various special needs.

They attend school in a rural setting, that has a high level of free/reduced lunch, parents without jobs due to the economy and jobs moving from the area. Our school is for grades preschool to 4th with almost 1,000 students.

My Project

These dry erase boards will brighten my students future by giving them an opportunity to learn and achieve success of writing their names, words and numbers. Having these boards will reduce the amount of paper we use for practice. It will also teach the children to be environmental friendly by "recycling" well reusing the board over and over again.

Learning to write is an important part of our education.

You can't go far if you don't know how to write. Learning while they are young will help them to achieve their goals and be successful in school and life.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
