My Project

Learning about our weather and climate is important for our student's future! Students gather at the carpet daily to participate in Calendar Time. This time is crucial to my students. We discuss: days of the week, months of the year, review counting, patterns, and we discuss the weather!

Students love learning about the daily weather, seasons, and climate during carpet time!

During this time we discuss the daily weather, what season we are in, and how that impacts our weather. By upgrading our carpet area, it will allow my students the opportunity to learn more about these important topics.

The new carpet will give my students more space. The new calendar set has more items included to open more discussions about our weather and environment. The calendar pocket chart will allow me to display this in way that the students can visualize what we are learning!
