Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are an archery team of 48 young archers in 4th through 8th grades. Due to growth in this sport, we have added more lanes and more heavy archery targets.

We need wheels for our targets.

These self-healing 80cm 3D foam targets weigh 30 pounds. That is too much for our young archers to pick up and haul out to our range. Our goal is to have a hand cart for each 80cm target we have.

We also need lights for our range. In an Arizona winter, the sun goes down early. Lights will make it much easier for all, and, in the long run, give the archers more time to practice. Lighting is essential and is also a huge part of safety on our range.
