Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in an inner-city, low-income public school with grades PK-4. The majority of my students speak English as their second language. They are so eager to learn new things.

I enjoy going to school each day to see what the day holds.

Many times I feel I have learned more than they have because of what they teach me.

My Project

My students deserve the best I can give them. Last year I tried by purchasing headphones for each of my students, but they were always breaking and were just cheap. Some of my students couldn’t fit the earbuds into their ears, so we had to make adjustments. My students deserve to have headphones that will adjust to their heads and get the best learning opportunities that I can provide. By providing my students with these headphones they will be able to read books on their level and at their pace, they will also have many educational sites that will enable their growth in learning.
