My students need headphones to use in class for lessons I create that cater to their various learning styles, such as visual and auditory. I teach with a lot of videos and video lectures I record.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach almost 130 students on a daily basis in an inner-city charter high school with almost 100% of the student population participating in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program, and almost 100% of the student population living in families at or below poverty levels. Despite all of those drawbacks, and the very diverse ethnic backgrounds of my students, many of whom speak English as a second language, their hard work, their good nature, and desire to get an education is impressive. My charter school is located in cramped facilities where we are practically overflowing with students.
My Project
I have been loaning my students five, very old, worn-out headphones, and three personal ones I brought from home to use for the video lectures, and other videos I teach with in class to cater to all learning styles. Therefore, I am in dire need of a new set of headphones for my students to use. Since I have English Language Learners and students who receive special education services in my classes along with other students of various learning-levels, I like to create projects and tasks that offer a lot of choice in terms of meaningful activities and different ways for students to attain content in my U.S. history course. I like to offer students short, scholarly articles to read, supplemented with a video that helps them to understand what they read, in addition to the lessons I lead in my classroom.
