My Project

We are excited to have a new favorite hangout---an outdoor bungalow. We lack shade on our playground and would love to have a cozy space for our students to hang out, connect, and grow. In addition to providing shade, this cozy space will benefit our students in numerous way. The benefits include stress reduction, encouraging imagination and creativity, and supporting learning and concentration during outside play.

Stress Reduction: Cozy spaces can help reduce stress and anxiety in children by providing a quiet and calming environment where they can retreat when feeling overwhelmed.

This can be especially beneficial for children who are sensitive or easily overstimulated.

Imagination and Creativity Promotion: Cozy spaces often encourage imaginative play and creativity. Whether it's a fort made out of blankets or a reading nook filled with books and pillows, these spaces can inspire children to engage in imaginative activities and explore their creativity.

Learning and Concentration: Cozy spaces can be conducive to learning and concentration. By providing a quiet and comfortable environment, children can better focus on tasks such as reading, drawing, or completing homework without distractions.

Overall, creating cozy spaces for kids can have a positive impact on their physical, emotional, and cognitive development, providing them with a nurturing environment where they can thrive and grow. We look forward to hanging out, connecting, and growing in TK!
