Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are curious little explorers. They are happy to come to school and learn each and every day. My students worked so hard learning their upper/lowercase letters, blending and segmenting words, all the way to writing/drawing pictures to tell stories. In Math, they learn from counting to 50 to learning number bonds. The love to play and have fun. They are ready to move on. They are on their way mastering skills in literacy and math.

I believe these materials, such as books, balls, and other resources will help them to continue to develop their reading and writing skills over the summer, which is very helpful in kindergarten.
