This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students are inquisitive and need hands-on activities to encourage scientific processing skills. Students are more engaged in the learning process when they are offered opportunities to collaborate, explore, create, tinker, and invent.
My students need a place to keep their Legos and preserve their creations between work times.
Students need a place to store their legos and have them ready for easy access when it is time to work on them again. Having a place to store them safely will allow students to find solutions and take ownership of their learning. They use higher-level thinking skills to brainstorm, tinker, design, and create. Legos are a wonderful way to help build teamwork and social skills, communication and language skills, problem-solving, mathematics, creativity, perseverance, confidence, patience, and concentration.
