My Project
The 8th grade class at my school has an over-arching, year-long theme on ways we can protect the environment. Following various educational activities, hands-on experiences, and field trips throughout the year, we would like to end the year with a relaxing day flying kites in a local park. This project will supply us with the kites so that each group of 3-4 scholars can have their own kite to take turns and work together to learn how to operate and fly. The other main item for this project are the tri-fold boards, which the scholars will use to present their findings from throughout the school year to their peers and families.
