Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
3rd grades love to play while learning. What a better way to read by having a "Reading Under the Stars" day where my students will read and answer comprehension activities under twinkle lights (stars), by a glowing (pretend) campfire or in a camping tent using their finger lights and lanterns.
Please help me give my students these special events to celebrate and enjoy learning reading and math new skills this school year.
We will also have a "Let's Glow" day. Students will rotate in glowing stations, getting to use the highlighters, glow tape and other materials to answer different mathematical equations while reading word problems. How fun right! Thank you for your support to make this school year amazing for my third graders!
