My Project

Our artists love making clay art pieces. In every grade level, we do different clay projects, from clay coil pots to architectural structures. 3rd graders make pinch pots and kinder/first-grade students make clay butterflies. By 5th grade, it's student choice projects.

Kinesthetic learning (learning by doing) is important in the arts.

It is a way for students to explore personal expression, critical thinking, and problem-solving, as well as pride in their completed work. Having students glaze their projects is a great way to create an enduring artifact of their learning. Having glaze in a variety of colors, such as those I am asking for, will enable our students to create beautiful, colorful projects.
