Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are bursting with motivation to write, sketch, draw, and create. We do not have the funds to provide them with iPads, and the school budget has limited the amount of paper and copies we are allowed to use. We do use whiteboards but the cost of replacing dry-erase pens and erasers is becoming an issue.

An LCD tablet would be a cheap but effective alternative to high tech (like an iPad) and the rising expense of replacing whiteboard supplies.

I have already bought some LCD tablets as a trial, and the students love them. They feel like they are using technology when in actuality, it is all their thinking, their writing, and their creation.
