My Students

Do you remember how frustrating it was to sit to write something down and your pencil either broke or was not sharp? By the time my students finally get their pencils sharpened, they have forgotten what we have learned and what their assignment was.

My students attend a Title I school.

Many of my students come from low income families with very diverse backgrounds. My students do not let their current situations keep them down. My students share my love of learning and are constantly striving for the best.

My Project

Having this new pencil sharpener will cut down the time that my students spend at the pencil sharpener everyday. This will allow them to spend more time learning. We spend on average about 45 minutes a day at the pencil sharpener trying to get our pencils sharp. That 45 minutes could be utilized in learning.

Please help keep our students sharp one pencil at a time!
