My Students
I love my students because they bring their own special touch and individuality to our classroom each day. I have 7 little friends, four boys, and three girls. All of my girls are 4 years old. Two of my boys are 3 years old and the rest are 4, one will be 5 next month . A couple of my little ones have autism, some are developmentally delayed and I even have one that is wheelchair-bound. I can tell you, there is never a dull moment in our classroom! Each of the wee ones has their own little touch that they add to our classroom family to make our environment the place to be.
There are two other teachers in the classroom with me, one of the perks of being in an EC classroom...so the three of us are able to spend a lot of individual one-on-one time with our babies.
My Project
Some of these materials will focus on my kiddos fine motor skills. They will use the crayons to learn how to use a three finger grasp to hold their writing tools correctly. The stickers will also enhance their fine motor skills as they use two and three fingers to grip the stickers and place them onto paper.
The snacks and drinks are to help provide that last bit of energy at the end of the day, my kiddos are at school for a full day, from 8:25 until 3:15 and we eat lunch at 11:00.
So, that snack after nap time will be just what they need to finish up strong and get that last bit of learning in!
