I chose the 3-Way Art easel for my learning environment because it will "invite" the children to participate in art activities as well as encourage social emotional development as they interact with one another in the Art Center. We rarely paint in the classroom because our Art Center consists of a single table where the children are able to draw, paint, create with Play-Doh, and participate in other art activities. I believe that the easel will draw their attention and allow for them to expand on their creativity. It will also enhance their fine motor skills, something that ALL children need!
