This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The kids really would do better concentrating if hunger is off their minds. Many families have been unable to supply a healthy snack and the school only provides breakfast and lunch.

My third graders are ready to go through a big growth spurt.

We have a late lunch shift, so they are super hungry every day when we begin Math. It’s a tough subject made even harder when your brain is focused on food.

Your support would really help these guys get through this important time. It might seem small, but this snack will make a big difference.
