Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My fifth grade students are largely made up of ESOL levels 1-4. Although my students have varying exceptionalities they all use and manipulate technology on a daily basis in their home lives.
Most of my students are Hispanic and come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
Regardless of their difficulties, they work hard and are eager to learn. Under the guidance of our team, they have been able to adapt quickly and meet the challenges of learning the fifth grade curriculum in their non native language.
My Project
My students are in fifth grade and these fluorescent light film covers would be a perfect addition to our classroom. Our fifth grade curriculum is very rigorous and students need a lighting that can support students performance in the classroom.
With these fluorescent film covers, our students can get the right light to be able to maintain focused and set the right mood for learning.
The astronomy film covers are perfect for our classroom and compliments our curriculum. We learn about Earth Space and this would be pretty cool to have as an addition in the classroom. Students can get the right lighting and have a little bit of space in their own class.
