Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have some students who are on the Autism Spectrum. Many of them require assistance and special activities to get their bodies ready to learn.

The students require different movement breaks, sensory regulation, and different materials to help regulate themselves to focus.

Many of the items, such as the trampoline, would be very helpful in giving the students a jumping break prior to sitting down and needing to focus on a lesson. With the movement and different sensory items, such as the lycra tunnel, the students will begin to learn to regulate themselves when needed.
