Hello! My name is Miss Fisher, and I am a first year teacher. This fall, I will begin teaching 4th grade. 4th graders are WONDERFUL because of their established understanding of school and how fun learning can be, as well as their increased level of independence, eagerness to collaborate with peers, excitement to be leaders, and willingness to try new things.
My students are curious, enthusiastic, and creative learners who are eager to grow and expand their depth of knowledge.
They enjoy hands-on learning opportunities and time to learn from each other. My students love to learn, and I am determined to make this year the best one yet!
My Project
As a first year teacher, there are many materials that are needed for a classroom. Some of the products that I have selected include: pocket charts, storage bins, and standing file organizers. Students will be able to stay organized throughout the school year, which will allow them to be more effective learners. In addition to this, I have selected some indoor recess activities, like Legos and Lincoln Logs, so that students are encouraged to create/build during indoor recess times and a classroom rug. Smaller items that I have selected include: an electric pencil sharpener and motivational posters.
