My students need painting supplies such as smocks, paintbrushes, no-spill cups and paint cup carriers to complete our outdoor painting center.

My Students

Make being creative easy and fun! Give my students the tools they need to explore and create with paint. These supplies will help us keep the kids who paint and the painting center clean and comfortable to use.

My students come from a high needs community with a lot of heart.

All students in my classroom are learning English and Spanish. Our elementary school really believes in the arts and will love to see their little ones creating, imagining and inspiring other students.

My Project

Art is a powerful tool to use to tie into any curriculum. For example, when we study a letter sound, students may paint things that start with that sound or recreate a scene from a story we just read. Science and math also easily can be incorporated. Students can paint the weather or seasons for that science unit or show they understand what 5 fruits look like. The educational possibilities are endless! My students need smocks, paintbrushes, non spill cups and paint cup carriers to complete our outdoor painting center.

Most students at my school do not have an opportunity to paint outside of school.

This project will provide their very first experience with creating paintings. Give them the gift of art!
