My Students

It's a new school year with 23 new little active and excited kinders ready to take on the world. I am wanting to inspire these young minds to realize they "can Do it". Our school is Arts Intergrated in which they learn core content through a variety of art forms. I want these students to have a positive experience at the start of their educational journey and become inspired individuals with a strong foundation. Providing them with the resilience and confidence to believe in themselves and be kind to others is my role.

My Project

This project is to get my students to create a strong foundation in what is Mindset... to establish positive attitudes that they have control over to be KIND and what they do and think are powerful.

I want my students to be confident and have a strong self image, as well as to empower others to believe the same about themselves.

Teaching children to love themselves allows them to love others. Research shows children that have a strong mindset are more engaged and motivated, this is my goal for my students for their first year of school and for their futures.

The Growth Mindset Coach book for teachers will help me to design the lessons for my students to become successful. The mini canvas panels will allow them to create painting that reflect positive thinking and beauty.
