My classroom is a world of hustling and bustling students excited to learn new things. Our school provides the only arts integrated elementary school program in the State. The students learn through experiences that involve the whole child and whole brain and body involvement. I am thrilled to teach my students to problem solve and self reflect in their learning at a your age that will transform them to become life long learners. Learning alongside my students as I allow them to question and explore in a variety of ways, it is such an adventure all year long. The curriculum is based on common core standards yet, student driven as we learn together, research supports the claim that arts integrated learning supports academic achievement in all grade levels such as increased reading comprehension, problem solving, observational, and organizational skills are addressed each and everyday.
