My Project
We do a lot of learning by doing in our classroom. We may have textbooks, workbooks, videos that we watch on the Smart Board, etc.
However, when all is said and done, we use materials to create and manipulate day in and day out.
Whether we are experimenting in science, creating art related to literacy, playing math games, or solving puzzles, we are handling materials.
It has become difficult to store all of our materials in an easy-to-retrieve fashion. We do have rolling carts that are a godsend. And we have huge storage bins that help me store according to content area. However, we need some smaller bins to keep us from rooting through endless materials on a regular basis.
We would be able to use these bins for materials in our literacy and math center rotations as well as for materials that we use at the guided table. Some of these storage bins would help us organize better in our closet.
