My Students

All of my students are English Language Learners and the majority come from low income, high poverty environments. We are a Title I school with the majority of our students receiving free/reduced-price breakfast and lunch. Yet they are the most inquisitive and resilient young people you will ever meet.

While adapting to middle school and fitting in may come easy to some, we all know it’s not the same for all children.

Hopefully feeling like there’s a special place for them in my classroom can help ease the rocky roads of adolescence.

My Project

We are asking for storage units to hold our classroom supplies. It is my goal to teach them to respect their supplies, which requires them to put them away neatly and safely. We engage in a lot of project-based learning activities and we need organized storage.

Students need to be able to know how to be organized in order to succeed in everyday life and in the future.

These storage units will help my students keep their projects and supplies orderly which will optimize our class time. Please consider helping them to learn the very critical skill of organization.
