This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our first graders are active by nature. They love to move and enjoy being outdoors. Recess is a special time for the students to release their energy and they enjoy making memories with their classmates.
First graders enjoy playing with soccer and basketballs during recess, but we do not have enough equipment.
Recess equipment is an important tool for promoting healthy physical and social development in children. Your donation would help the first graders to play soccer, basketball, football and other fun activities during outdoor recess. This equipment including balls, jump rope, and hopscotch squares will be shared among the first-grade classes.
