My students need equipment to be active in gym to improve their physical fitness levels. Equipment such as roller racers, scooters, and soft balls provide fun ways for kids to enjoy physical fitness.

My Students

My students are a fantastic group of kids who love to move. My students come from a variety of backgrounds but most are from low economic families. Our elementary school is an English Language Learning school where students come from very diverse backgrounds. We are also a Title I school in which 100% of students receive free and reduced lunches.

Students at our school have a problem with obesity.

The gym is a place where they can move, exercise and have fun. If you ask students what is their favorite subject, for many, the response would be gym.

My Project

The equipment that I am asking for will help my students in many ways. Scooters and roller racers can be used by all students no matter what ability level and can help kids get excited to move in the gym. They can be used individually or in fun Physical Education games.

Balls of all kinds especially soft and light balls are easy to incorporate in to all sorts of games.

Omni Kin balls and coated balls are easy for students to grip and throw and make great adaptions so all kids can feel confident to TRY and move in the gym. These can also be used individually or in team format.
