This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am thrilled to have the honor of teaching math and science to an incredible group of 6th graders! These are my two favorite subjects, and I just love this age group!

Our school has a spectacular staff and incredible community support.

Even though we are located in a low socioeconomic area, it is clear that parents want the best for their children by their active involvement. My students face many daily challenges, but they always come to school with dazzling smiles, ready to have fun learning!

My Project

Our school really needs a new laminator for all teachers to use. The one we have now is more than 10 years old. It has been broken more often than it has worked this year. I would learn that it was working, but, by the time I brought my items up to laminate, it would be down again. We are talking within the same day!

So, I am dreaming the big dream and going for this amazing laminator for all teachers to use at my school site!

This laminator and laminating film would allow over forty teachers to preserve teaching materials. Our classrooms would shine with anchor charts, maps, graphic organizers, and incredible bulletin boards. I would also laminate important student materials that would go in their notebooks. Students will benefit in all subject areas as these important learning tools will always be posted.

This laminator will make a huge difference for all teachers and students at my school site. Your help will have a lasting impact for many years to come. Thank you for taking the time to read this dream project!
