This year as a first year teacher I have gladly pulled a lot of money from my own pocket to build my classroom. As I look to the rest of the year we are running low on paper and a few supplies to be creative. When entering my class it was very well loved as far as all cooking items. I am working to show the kids that we do have fully working kitchens and that this can be a fun safe learning place for them. Having help with the paper purchases and art and supplies for the kitchen gives me the ability to purchase more of the food fun projects out of my pocket since the budget can be tight with cooking with 25-28 kids each week.
