Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project is al about bringing art back to class.

Our elementary school does not have an art program.

That means it's up to me to make sure my firsties have opportunities in class to let their creativity shine.

For this project we need drawing paper, tons of crayons, including people colors, glue sticks, scissors, and colored pencils.

I plan to host a designated art hour twice per week. During this time we will do directed drawings, cut and paste crafts, writing activities that feature drawing, and so much more.
