My Project

Over the years, I have worked hard to incorporate as many hands-on learning activities as possible into my classroom. Some of these ideas are planned and others come on the fly! When that happens, I am scrambling to try and find materials last minute for the activity. For this project, I have put together a variety of materials that we will use throughout the remainder of the school year.

Later this year, the students will be creating ecosystem boxes.

They can use the clay to create organisms in their biome. The pom poms, feathers, and eyes will make great additions to their creations. In history, we are learning about the American Revolution and the students are writing a historical fiction piece. I would love for them to be able to print their writing out on the parchment paper. Then we can display them in the hallway for everyone to read.
